Hello!
Day 161, 9 June 2012 - My View
I spent the morning at the inter-school netball carnival with my daughter. She played four games and had a wonderful time. This photo was looking back over the playing fields, towards the sun. It was funny weather, cold one second, hot the next, cloudy and sunny all at once. The sun is that bright patch in the middle of the cloud. ;-)
Day 162, 10 June 2012 - The best part of the week-end
What a great theme for today. Today was the annual Brisbane Papercrafting Expo at the Brisbane Convention Centre. And it certainly was a highlight of my week-end. I bought myself an OTT light, so I can set up my crafty corner in the {dark} rumpus room and move off the dining room table. I bought some new Hero Arts background stamps {yay!} and a few other little bits and pieces. The highlight, though, was to see Tim Holtz demonstrating his products. In particular, he was working with alcohol inks. He's fantastic! I learned heaps and also developed a massive desire for a full set of alcohol inks {oh dear!}. Here he is.
I like this photo for all the colour and product, but I thought it was a bit "clean" for Tim Holtz, so I edited it a little.
There we go, that's better, more grungy!
:-)

Days 139 - 141, 18 - 20 May 2012: Things I made
Hello!
Day 139, 18 May 2012 - Something I made
I made this frame for my Mum for Mothers' Day. I didn't finish it until a few days after Mothers' Day, oops! I really like how it turned out.
I was tagged for #9ofpride on Instagram, and this is what I came up with.
19 May was supposed to be A Favourite Place. My favourite place is being at home with my family. I couldn't figure out how to capture this in a photo, especially since my family were all over the place and never together, so I missed the day.
Day 141, 20 May 2012 - Something I can't live without
Well, I just explained how hard it is to catch my family sitting still enough for a photo. So I went for my second thing I can't live without... pizza!
This photo makes my pizza look very YELLOW. I promise it wasn't that yellow. It was probably the lights and my dodgy editing that made it this way, LOL!
And an extra random photo, my daughter, on the floor, of course...
:-)

Day 119-120 - 28 to 29 April 2012
Hello!
This week-end has been drizzly and grey. Actually, it has not been drizzly, it has poured down rain constantly. Our pool, which was in need of a top-up, is now overflowing. This is ridiculous! With the start of Autumn, we are theoretically supposed to be entering our dry season. Maybe May will be the start of the dry...
Day 119, 28 April 2012 - 1pm
1pm is the end of my little girl's ballet lesson, so that is where I was.
Not a bad 1st position for a 4 year old. She also had her arms and hands in position for the photo. :-)
Day 120, 29 April 2012 - Circle
I WAS going to take a photo of the pizza I made for dinner tonight. BUT, it was eaten before I remembered! So I took a photo of a card that I made today, instead.
I have a couple of other photos I want to share. In fact, at some stage I need to put these into a collage, as I have about 50 photos of my daughter having the time of her life in a mud puddle in our backyard. Yes, this is the ballerina. She has fun in the mud, too. :-)
Ah, she cracked us up with her antics.
:-)

Day 32 - 1 February 2012
Hello!
Day 32 was one of those days. Up at 6am. We left home at 7.15am on the school run. I went to work and had a challenging day. I ran late to collect my eldest daughter from swim squad, but found that she was having some extra training, which went to 5.30pm. I then whizzed her home, dropped her to the hubby at 6pm, and turned around to return to school for the parent information evening. I got home around 9pm. I was totally exhausted and I still had to finish off a card that was due for my DT duties at For Your Inspiration (which I have no idea why I hadn't finished already, I started it over a week ago!). So the ONE photo I took on this day was of my card, at night. I'll share it here anyway, LOL!
I'm getting better at editing my photos, you can barely tell this was taken with no natural light.

Day 10 - 10 January 2012
Hello!
The theme this week seems to be swimming in my pool, but I have broken the theme in my photos, because I didn't take any swimming photos on Day 10. I was too busy enjoying the pool. :-) What I took photos of was my craft mess on my dining table, and multiple photos of a couple of cards that I was trying to photograph at night time under regular lights. It turns out that I really cannot defeat the shadows with my "creative" photography. I really should invest in a light box/tent, and a couple of good lights.
Anyway, Day 10's photo is this one, of my card laying on the floor in the vain hope that I would get a decent photo of it... I didn't... I had to wait until morning for daylight to get my shot, LOL!
